I'm gonna binge the first couple episodes starting now. Didn't know it existed until like 2 weeks ago. They got some ringers... and it's really, really weird to see some design heroes combined with the worst of "reality TV."

I'm sure as you know by now they pit 5 designers again 5 people that think they know design with the body kits concept cars showing that.

Really? as an industrial design student the concept of this show seems cool, i'll have to watch it to see how bad they butcher it.

I cannot understate how bad it is, as a representation of the design process, as entertainment, and as a reasonable portrayal of people.
(Disclosure: I worked under Camilo)

I don't know that much about design but the show is boring as fuck. For the last two I just skipped to the end to see the cars, and they looked shitty anyways. Jeez.
West Coast Customs (Street Customs? Inside WCC? Whatever it's called now) is a better show that pumps out better looking cars. This isn't to say it's the height of television, or that their cars always look desirable, but overall, much better than this show.

It is irredeemably bad. This is my conclusion after the first two episodes.
